Who WE Are

Welcome to Moms United for Education

We are a nonpartisan, parent-led movement working to improve our public schools by empowering families and endorsing responsible, student-focused school board leadership.

We believe schools should be safe, academically strong, and guided by leaders who value transparency and family involvement. Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, or community member, you can help make a difference in your district—and we’re here to support you.

What We Stand For:

* Safe, inclusive learning environments
* High academic standards that prepare students for life
* Transparent leadership that partners with parents

Our Initiatives

We empower families to participate in education through four core areas:

School Board Awareness & Endorsements

We support and inform communities about candidates who put students and families first.

Parent Advocacy Resources

We offer toolkits, guides, and talking points to help parents speak confidently and effectively at school board meetings.

Community Engagement

We encourage local connection through conversations, meetups, and chapter-based outreach.

Local Chapters

Our growing network of chapters gives parents the opportunity to lead change close to home.

Leadership Training for Parents

We provide workshops and mentoring to help parents grow as education advocates.

Education Policy Awareness

We explain key education policies so families can understand and take action.

We’re Here to Listen. Let’s Connect

Why It Matters

Education Is a Shared Responsibility—Here’s Why

When schools succeed, communities thrive. But too many parents today feel sidelined, unheard, or under-informed.

Safety Concerns

1 in 4 parents report being worried about their child's safety at school

Academic Declines

National reading and math test scores continue to the drop

Disconnected Leadership

Only 3 in 10 parents feel heard by their school board

Lack of Family Involvement

Parents feel excluded from education decisions.

Endorsement Process

We believe school board members should be thoughtful, transparent, and student-focused—not driven by partisanship.

Our endorsement process includes:

  • Review of each candidate’s platform
  • Community feedback
  • Interviews and a values-based pledge
  • A focus on transparency, safety, and academic outcomes

If you know a candidate who represents these values—or you’re considering running yourself—let’s talk.
